Here's another sparkling special from our friend Dr Mike, the Mad Professor
Just shows what can be achieved with that rare combination of way too much spare time and loads of dosh....

Doctor Mike started with a well used, stock standard, Triumph T140V of around 1976 vintage, and a vision of building a road legal machine in the style of the British twins that dominated the American flat tracker scene back in the day. We think he did pretty well...

Oil filler moved to just behind steering head, tank modified to suit. Additional 1.5 litre oil capacity
Rear loop removed and seat support welded in to stiffen frame
Non-essential brackets removed and new essential brackets welded in place

Front End
2000 Katana forks with replacement steering stem pressed in
T140 front hub modified to accept Honda? discs, spoked into a non-valanced WM3 18" alloy rim
Custom guard from Alloy

Rear wheel
T140 hub spoked into an non-valenced WM4 18" alloy rim
Lightweight floating rear disc, with Grimeca caliper
Nissin rear master cylinder from '93 Daytona
520 secondary chain and 130 TT100 tyre fitted

Graham Martin billet crank
Billet alloy rods
Billet alloy barrel with 9.5:1 forged alloy pistons
Custom inlet cam, Spitfire exhaust cam, 1" radius cam followers
Cam timing set for midrange/top end, std ignition advance
Kibblewhite pushrods, 1mm oversize inlet valves, std exhaust valves
Long induction tracts 34mm tapering to 30mm at guide, 34mm MkII Amal carbs
Electronic ignition system
Lightened rocker gear and timing wheels
K&N air filters
Lightweight hydraulic actuated 7 plate clutch
Spin on oil filter and modified return system to steering head filler
Supertrapp muffler with custom end

Koso instrumets and oil pressure gauge
